Conference Case Study

Hosting Education Leaders from Across the Globe

In June 2019, we had the honour of hosting 150+ global leaders in education as they discussed the future of university endeavours. The week was fully scheduled with educational sessions and exhibitor halls held in iconic spaces on campus—all which met our goal of providing engaging environments for learning and collaboration.

A Reception to Remember

The opening reception was held in the memorable Ivey Atrium where guests mingled with each other and with members of our Western Community. This bright, modern, open-concept space provided the perfect environment for friends and colleagues to meet and network.

Merging History with Technology

For two days of plenary sessions, our historic Conron Hall was transformed into a TV studio to manage recording of all presentations. With a custom set built specifically for this event, attendees enjoyed powerful discussions in a historic setting.

A Celebration Fit for the Best

For the closing banquet, the vast Great Hall hosted a VIP event—including a grand piano and full band performing on a custom stage. Additional screens and a plexi-glass podium were installed for additional impact, and to allow for memorable entertainment and guest recognition.
